About Idea Review
Each year, middle and high school students join Project Invent and embark on a journey to invent products for social good- designing with real community members in mind instead of for hypotheticals.
Mid-program, student teams participate in our Idea Review events where they are able to meet with volunteers and share their top invention ideas. As a volunteer, you will hear more about their ideas and provide feedback so that they can move forward to the prototyping phase of their project!
What Will I do?
Sign up for a date(s) where you will join us on Zoom to meet your teams!
During the event you will meet with 2-4 teams and hear more about their invention ideas. You will provide feedback and notes that teams can refer back to after the Idea Review is completed.
As a volunteer, Project Invent will provide training (asynchronous or synchronous) and resources to prepare you for the event.
Am I a good fit?
This opportunity is for anyone who wants to help teams reflect on their projects. If you’re an individual who is excited about inspiring the next generation to create inventions for social good, this volunteer opportunity is just right for you!
If you have a background in business, design, marketing, software, product, engineering, innovation- that’s a bonus!
