Volunteer With Us Virtually Feb- April
What is Prototype Support?
As a Prototype Support volunteer, you will provide hardware support to teams as they design their early- stage prototype- helping navigate the building and technology side of their project.
Who should volunteer?
This opportunity is for professionals who have experience building products using hardware such as Arduino or Micro:bit and are comfortable brainstorming with students, providing technical assistance, and troubleshooting. Professional backgrounds can include engineering, product, hardware, robotics, and more!
What will i do?
From the end of February - April you will set up a calendar of free times where teams can sign up for 30 minute virtual meetings. During the sessions, you will assist them in tech assistance such as finding additional resources, helping with code, or providing feedback in designing their early-stage prototypes. The time commitment is 3-8 hours over the course of February- April. A volunteer training will be provided!
*If you are not available for the full timeframe, please let us know so that we can accommodate your schedule.
